In May, my brother, sister and I launched our podcast, The Wright Perspective!
Our show is about popular and classic television shows and movies and on it you will hear recaps and analysis of shows and movies you love, or love to hate, from siblings with 3 very different life perspectives. Whether you are a pop culture enthusiast or just need recommendations about how to populate your binge watching schedule, this is the podcast for you.
Sharing the podcast overview below in the hope that you will check us out on Youtube or any major podcasting platform!

The Wright Perspective Podcast
Every two weeks join siblings Aubrey, Genia and Brittany Wright as they recap, review, and critique some of America’s favorite shows and movies. Whether you are a pop culture enthusiast or just need recommendations about how to populate your binge watching schedule, this is the podcast for you.
Aubrey, a seasoned Gen X mansplainer and lover of the action genre, is the oldest sibling and an entrepreneur in the telecommunications industry. Genia, an Xennial who exhibits 100% of the symptoms of middle child syndrome, loves comedy, is an improv comedian and works with a nonprofit social justice organization. And Brittany, the proudly spoiled baby of the family, is a Millennial through-and-through, loves romance, is a model and stylist and works in pharmaceutical services.
Because these siblings don’t have much in common beyond DNA, the featured shows and films are diverse and the discussion is full of both humorous and serious debate and analysis. Each episode follows the following format: recap of the subject content, discussion of the content including favorite aspects and least favorite aspects, and the podcast wraps with a voting process to determine whether the show deserves to be designated a classic from The Wright Perspective. The voting process for each episode is tailored to the content (e.g. lightsabers for Star Wars and Pagers for season one of The Wire).
So far, the Wrights have reviewed the original Star Wars trilogy, Love and Basketball, the Shaft Franchise, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and seasons one and two of the Wire. Upcoming episodes will cover the remaining three seasons of the wire, Designing Women, Die Hard, Star Trek, Living Single, James Bond, and more!
